The past couple of days have been very difficult for us at the centre. The sudden nature of the news meant that we had to get everything organised speedily. Other than Pujas, we also trying make travel arrangement to travel to India. Many of our Dharma brothers and sisters, like us, are rushing to book air tickets. over past couple days, many of them would stream into Rinpoche's house in Gaden Shartse Monastery in Mundgod India. As far as we know Sister Angie, the President of our sister centre in Singapore has just arrived in India.
The news from India, so far, is that Rinpoche is still in his meditative state and that it is likely that Rinpcohe may exit this state soon. it is only with that we would get a much clearer picture of what, when and how would all the rituals and ceremony be done. We are all anxiously waiting here and shall keep you posted.
It is indeed fortunate and good karma for us that we have Geshe Konchok Tashi with us in Malaysia during this challenging time. With kindness and patience, he has guided us on the activities in the centre. Without that, we would have felt even more lost.
Geshe Konchok Tashi leading us in performing Lama Chopa ("Guru Puja") |
We have been doing Guru Puja & light offering for two days now, and the final session would be tonight, after which Geshela would rush back to India. many of us would follow suit on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Light Offering at the Namgyal Stupa at the garden of our centre. |
We shall try to find the best way to keep all members and friend up to date with the latest news.
