SDC AGM 2011

We are pleased to announced that yesterday (i.e. 27 March 2011) we had successfully carried out our Annual General Meeting for the year 2011.

The attendance was very encouraging and we had managed to discussed and made decisions on various issues.

The highlight of some of the issues which were discussed and decision made was as follows:

- The meeting resolved that the centre to take a more proactive role in engaging members, both new and old. Hopefully, it will increase the attendance at the centre;
- The meeting has appointed four new members to the committee; and
- The meeting has also resolved to set up the education Fund Sub-Committee.

After the conclusion of the AGM, we also had a briefing by the organising committee of the SDC Grand Puja 2011. They laid out the plan and schedule for our big event for 2011. The event would coincide with the Wesak day celebration in May.
