Welcome to our first post on our blog.
We, as a centre, are always constantly looking for ways to improves and increase our reach to our members and friends. Over past years we have been experimenting using the internet, particularly using Facebook (see: http://bit.ly/sdcfan). It has been a success as we were able to make many new friends.
In view of the success, we have decided to "phased out" our traditional communication tool, namely our newsletter, and change it to a more environmental friendly solution, i.e. this current blog you're reading! http://sdcmalaysia.blogspot.com
This blog would not be just a news blog, but we hope to publish some Dharma teachings on it, so we all can improve our knowledge. Furthermore, we also encourage all of you (yes, you!) to email us anything you wish to share with others (eg personal experiences, thoughts..etc), and we shall post it on the blog for others to read (this is subject to suitability and also some editing for the purposes of ease of reading and publication).
So, please help us to make this journey a fruitful by actively participating and also get others to do the same.
Thank you once again for the support and kindness you have shown to us over the years. We hope we could do much more, so we could continue to do what we had set out to do, i.e. to benefit as many poeple as possible through our activities.
